The Rutgers Counseling, Alcohol and Other Drug Assistance Program & Psychiatric Services received a gift of $12,000 from Artmeis and Sophia Mazzini, alumna and undergraduate student respectively, who run Into the Light, a nonprofit that raises awareness of mental health issues facing teens and young adults.

Mason Gross School of the Arts received a bequest intention of $100,000 from retired faculty member Donald H. Redlich. The bequest will establish the Don Redlich MFA Dance Support Fund.

Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey received a gift of $225,000 from the Val Skinner Foundation. The gift will benefit the LIFE Center Support Fund.

School of Nursing received a gift of $100,000 from the Arthur G. Hubel Testamentary Trust. The gift will establish the Pauline C. and Arthur G. Hubel Endowed Scholarship.

University Behavioral Health Care received a pledge of $1.5 million from The Nicholson Foundation. The pledge will support a fully integrated health care training to develop a sustainable pipeline of health care professionals for New Jersey, the nation, and the future.

The School of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick received pledges totaling $500,000 from Alan H. Grossman LC '80. A $490,000 pledge will establish the Alan H. Grossman Annual Discovery and Innovation Fund and a $10,000 pledge will benefit the Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences Organizational Leadership Program.

New Jersey Medical School received a gift of $150,000 from Leonard E. Mindich. The gift benefits NJMS Public Health Research Institute in support of research on packaging the segmented genome of bacteriophage phi6.

Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey received a gift of $100,734 from Mary R. Lasser. The gift benefits the Thomas A. Lasser Memorial Fund for Melanoma Research.

School of Arts and Sciences–Newark received a bequest of $100,000 from the estate of Jan Ellen Lewis. The bequest establishes the Jan Ellen Lewis Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey received a gift of $220,000 from Aileen Rebecca D’Atri PHA’88, GPR’94 and Scott Glickman as a result of proceeds from the 14th annual Century for the Cure bike ride. The gift will benefit the Division of Blood Disorders in support of Roger Strair's research.

University Libraries received a bequest intention of $500,000 from Marianne I. Gaunt. The bequest will establish the Marianne I. and Barry A. Gaunt Endowed University Librarian’s Fund.

Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences received a grant of $159,474 from the Bob Woodruff Foundation. The grant benefits University Behavioral Health Care’s Vets4Warriors program to provide confidential, stigma-free peer support by veterans to active duty, National Guard, and reserve services members, veterans, retirees, and their families and caregivers.

Rutgers Business School–Newark and New Brunswick received a pledge of $450,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The pledge will support the launch of the Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation.

The School of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick received a pledge of $495,000 from the NoVo Foundation. The pledge will benefit the Center for Women’s Global Leadership in support of ending gender-based violence against women.

The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School received pledges totaling $232,200 from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A $125,000 pledge will benefit the SEBS department of biochemistry and microbiology in support of work by Jeff Boyd on abnormal nucleotide release/metabolism in dehydrated airways. A pledge of $107,200 will benefit the RWJMS department of biochemistry and molecular biology in support of Nancy Woychik’s research.

Intercollegiate Athletics received a pledge of $100,000 from Andrew A. Kaplowitz (RC’95) and Lisa Kaplowitz. The pledge will establish the Kaplowitz Family Endowed Women’s Athletic Scholarship.

Mason Gross School of the Arts received a bequest of $207,000 from the estate of Joseph Kovacs, a retired faculty member. The bequest benefits the Arnold Kvam Scholarship Fund.

The School of Communication and Information received a pledge of $140,000 from Shaun P. Mickus (RC’91), (SCILS’93) and Patricia J. Mickus (RC’91). The pledge will establish the Shaun and Patricia Mickus Endowed Scholarship in honor of professor Todd Hunt.

School of Engineering received a pledge of $2 million from Bruce S. Nicholas (ENG ’49) and Phyllis Walker Nicholas. The pledge will benefit the Engineering Student Projects Studio.

The Graduate School of Education received a pledge of $1,188,746 from the Heising-Simons Foundation. The pledge will benefit W. Steven Barnett’s work at the National Institute for Early Education Research.

Intercollegiate Athletics received a pledge of $4 million from Gregory Q. Brown (LC ’82) and Anna Louise Brown. The pledge will benefit the Big Ten Build Fund for the renovation of the football locker room in the Hale Center.

Eagleton Institute of Politics and Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology received a pledge of $1,300,000 from Susan N. Wilson. The pledge will endow the Center for American Women and Politics’ Susan N. Wilson NEW Leadership New Jersey program and provide ongoing support to Answer, a program that provides and promotes unfettered access to comprehensive sexuality education for young people and educators across the nation.

The School of Arts and Sciences received a pledge of $420,000 from Arthur Eli Reiner (RC’62) and Frances Gottlieb Reiner (DC’66). The pledge will establish the Frances and Arthur Reiner Endowed Scholarship.

The School of Engineering received a pledge of $100,000 from the Gerald B. Shreiber Foundation. The pledge will establish the Gerald B. Shreiber Endowed Biomedical Engineering Fellowship.

Rutgers School of Dental Medicine received a gift of $100,000 from Anthony R. Volpe RSDM’60, GSNB’66, and Marlene M. Volpe. The gift will benefit the Anthony R. Volpe, D.D.S., M.S. Endowed Scholarship.

Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy received a gift of $100,000 from The Bolton Family Trust. The gift established the Dr. Sanford M. Bolton and Phyllis Bolton Endowed Scholarship.

New Jersey Medical School received a pledge of $200,000 from the La Jolla Pharmaceutical Corporation. The pledge will benefit the Dr. Robert Ledeen Research Fund.

School of Social Work received a bequest intention of $100,000 from Lori R. Schlosser SSW ’81, GSNB ’03. The bequest will create the Lori R. Schlosser Fellowship for the Promotion of Social Work Values in Public Policy.
